Eat your veggies, eat your veggies... EAT YOUR DAMN VEGETABLES! Remember as a child when your mom would make you eat your greens? Well, mom's have the tendency to be right very often. And she was, you should always eat your vegetables! I cannot stress enough the importance of eating vegetables on a daily basis. They're high in nutrients like potassium, dietary fiber, folic acid, vitamin A, vitamin C, etc. So making them a staple of your diet is crucial. Health benefits:
A diet rich in vegetables may reduce risk of heart disease, obesity, type 2 diabetes, kidney stones, bone loss, and also help lowering blood pressure. Amongst many other overall health benefits. So eat dem bishes!
Aside from the overall health benefits that vegetables provide, they also help fight hunger when in a caloric deficit. And as many of you probably already know, dealing with hunger is one of the major deal breakers when trying to lose weight. And one way to fight hunger is eating more veggies, they provide bulk to your meals at a very low calorie cost. So you get more bang for your gram!
